Brazil - Crafts and Coffee

La da Venda is a very special emporium in São Paulo where
you can find the most colorful handmade and one of a kind goods;
you can take a break for a cup of coffee with pão de queijo (Brazilian cheese roll),
and go back to see some more; soaps, toys, fabrics, chocolate, ceramics,
organic strawberries, salami... it's a never ending eye candy collection!
I love the enamel coffee pots, the coffee filter is made of soft cotton fabric,
and some people still use them, specially in small towns,
it makes the most flavorful coffee ever!

Notice the aged cheese hanging from the ceiling.

You can sit inside for you coffee and pão de queijo, but only if the weather is too bad,
don't pass the opportunity to sit outside, either by the sidewalk or on the back of the emporium.

 Love the sign!

  1. HI! I'm writing a book about all filter methods and would be interested in the cotton-socks with the wire-stand and the colorful cups underneath.
    Is it possible to get one to Europe for pictures? Or do you have high resolution pictures I can use for printing? Of course with copyright and mentioning of your company :-)
    If yes, please contact me here

    Thank you, Johanna
